Two hands, a quiet workshop, and a dash of love.

Ana and Aldo are a couple from Tirana, with backgrounds in finance and the exact sciences, and a passion for the slowest of crafts. During the pandemic, they taught themselves the patient art of working with beeswax, hour by hour, until the wax began to cooperate.

They noticed a gap in the Albanian market for genuine beeswax candles and decided to be the first to fill it. Today every Kiribee candle is poured by hand from 100% pure Albanian beeswax. No chemicals, no shortcuts, no compromises.

Their mission is small but stubborn. To give people a reason to slow down. To light a candle and let the room soften.

The maker

Meet Ana.

She studied finance. She fell for the slowest of crafts. The steady hand behind every Kiribee candle. Aldo is her partner in everything, the second pair of hands that keeps the workshop running.

A few small facts

Graduated in Banking and Financial Management.
Art is my hobby. The only thing that pulls me out of everyday routine.
Calm by nature, but as a Taurus I rearrange the room often.
Hooked on travel.
Earth tones, always.
Favourite film genre: thriller and mystery.

The process

Filter the wax

We start with raw Albanian beeswax and patiently filter out every impurity until it runs gold and clear.

Melt with care

The wax is melted slowly at the right temperature, never rushed. Heat is the difference between a candle and a craft.

Pour the mold

A pure cotton wick is set in the mold. Then the wax is poured in one quiet motion. The moment everything begins to set.

Let it cool

Hours of stillness. The wax cools, hardens, and remembers the shape of the mold.

We carefully demold and finish each piece by hand. A painting, a dedication, the small touch that makes it yours.

Beeswax food wraps.

A reusable, washable, beautifully imperfect alternative to plastic wrap. Cotton soaked in beeswax, tree resin, and jojoba oil. Cut a sheet, warm it with your hands, fold it around your cheese.

Up to a year of use. Rinse with cool water and a mild soap, hang to dry, repeat.
